Description
Walking past a window, I glanced outside at the sticky wet snow fall. Movement in the periphery of my vision caught my eye. Sitting close to the house under the eaves, a little red fox was sitting and licking her feet. I went and got the camera but she was actually too far under the window so I could only fit a portion of her body into the camera frame.
This little fox reminded me of our daughter's mini Australian Shepherd, when he goes out for a wintery walk and his feet collect balls of snow. She was gnawing on the snow lumps between her toes but the more she licked, the more snow accumulated and stuck to her muzzle. It was really chucking it down out there! She must have sensed my presence and looked up at me... her look said it all! I wonder if she ever got all the snow lumps out of her whiskers!!
